CEDAR PARK, Texas - Ludwig Bystrom ended the power play woes for the Texas Stars with a man-advantage goal, but the rest of the game belonged to the San Jose Barracuda as they took a 6-1 win on Sunday at SAP Center.
Marcus Sorensen tallied a hat trick in the win for the Barracuda (4-5-0-1). Other than Bystrom's tally, Troy Grosenick shut down the Texas offense stopping 29 of 30 shots in net. Mike McKenna suffered the loss with 30 saves in net for Texas (5-6-0-1).
The Stars close out their four-game road trip on Wednesday against the San Diego Gulls at 9 p.m. CST.

Bystrom answered back less than two minutes later with his first of the season on a blast at the top of the circle for a power-play goal to knot the score at 1-1. Sorensen struck again with five minutes left in the first on the doorstep. Filip Sandberg added a power play goal late in the first to make it 3-1 for San Jose.
After a scoreless second, Sorensen scored his hat-trick goal at 7:52 of the third from a centering pass to the slot. Cavan Fitzgerald added his first career goal and Olivier Archambault also scored for San Jose late to cap off the scoring.
