Dallas Stars Training Camp Returns in September

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced Friday six guaranteed home dates for the upcoming 2017-18 season at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.

The Stars will begin their ninth season of play in the AHL on Friday, Oct. 6, with their Season Opener at 7:30 p.m. CST.

Nov. 10 and 11 is the team’s Military Appreciation Weekend event. Friday, Dec. 8, will be Sing for Santa Night as local school groups sing holiday music throughout the game for fans to enjoy.

The team will also be at home on Saturday, Jan. 6, for Girl Scouts’ Night and again on Saturday, Jan. 27, for WatchDOGS Night.

Fans can place deposits on season-ticket packages for next season by calling (512) GO-STARS (467-8277).

Opponents and starting times will be determined when the Stars’ finalized schedule for the 2017-18 campaign is released later in the summer. The team’s promotional schedule for the upcoming season will also be available at a later date.

Friday, Oct. 6 – Opening Night
Friday, Nov. 10 – Military Appreciation Weekend
Saturday, Nov. 11 – Military Appreciation Weekend
Friday, Dec. 8 – Sing for Santa Night
Saturday, Jan. 6 – Girl Scouts’ Night
Saturday, Jan. 27 – WatchDOGS Night

The Dallas Stars also announced on Friday they will be returning to H-E-B Center at Cedar Park for the third consecutive year to hold part of their preseason training camp from Sept. 14-18. Details will be announced at a later date.
