Max French Assigned to Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced Tuesday the team has reassigned forward Max French to their ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.

French, 25, has appeared in 25 games this season for Texas and tallied six points (3-3=6). The 5-foot-10, 185-pound forward is currently in his rookie season after finishing a four-year career at Bentley University (NCAA). The West Kelowna, British Columbia native scored his first career goal on Nov. 8 in a 6-2 win at San Diego. He was signed to an AHL contract with the Stars over the summer.
