Dallas Stars Reassign Jason Dickinson

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned center Jason Dickinson to the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Dickinson, 20, made his NHL debut last night against Colorado and scored a goal on his first career shot on net. With Texas, he has posted 50 points (20-30=50) in 69 games played. In his first full year of professional hockey, his 50 points are sixth among AHL rookies and are third overall on Texas. His three shorthanded goals are tied for fourth in the AHL and his five-game goal streak (5-2=7) from Feb. 17 - 27 is the second-longest streak for an AHL rookie this season.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound native of Georgetown, Ontario was selected by Dallas in the first round (29th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
