Anselmini Reassigned to Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced Thursday rookie defenseman Brandon Anselmini has been reassigned to the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.
Anselmini, 23, has appeared in nine games this season with the Stars and recorded three assists. In 18 games with the Steelheads, the 5-foot-10, 185-pound defenseman has tallied 11 points (2-9=11). Anselmini (an-suhl-MEE-nee) is a graduate of Ferris State University, where he played all four years.
The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, and are currently playing their eighth season at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
