2017-18 Promotional Schedule Announced
17 Giveaways Scheduled for this Season at H-E-B Center
Aug 8, 2017CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced Tuesday their promotional schedule for the upcoming 2017-18 campaign.
Stars fans can take advantage of a variety of promotions and giveaways this season with four weekend event specials, four specialty jersey auctions, seven theme nights and 17 giveaway nights. Fans can also enjoy new and returning ticket promotions for the 2017-18 season beginning with two-dollar domestic draft beers and buy one, get one free orders of chicken wings at every Friday home game.
In total, there are seven Winning Wednesdays, 10 H-E-B Nights, 12 Friday beer and wing specials and 16 Texas Lottery Lucky Row Nights. There are 28 Coke Zero Sugar Family Four-Pack Nights, as the popular package is now being offered on both Fridays and Saturdays for fans to purchase four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks starting at $16 per person.

Opening Weekend against the Chicago Wolves is presented by ABC Home & Commercial Services and begins on Friday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. with a magnet schedule giveaway. The following night, Stars t-shirts will be handed out to fans that arrive early prior to the 7 p.m. start time.
Brand new giveaway items this season include a Stars LED bracelet on Oct. 21 against the San Antonio Rampage, a Stars LED Pint Glass on St. Patrick’s Day against the Manitoba Moose and a Stars coaster bottle opener on April 14. Returning favorites include a Stars fleece blanket on Dec. 9, courtesy of The Smile Generation, a Stars calendar from Cedar Park Regional Medical Center on Dec. 16, a Stars youth jersey from University Federal Credit Union on Dec. 30, a Stars gym bag on Jan. 27 from H-E-B and a Stars player poster on Feb. 3 from Cedar Park Fun.
Texas Lottery Lucky Row Nights return on Saturdays where the first Stars player to score wins free scratch-off tickets for a lucky row of seats at H-E-B Center. Winning Wednesdays return for the first seven Wednesday home games of the season and H-E-B Nights are back for all Monday-Thursday contests. If the Stars win on a Winning Wednesday, fans in attendance receive a free ticket to the team’s following Wednesday game, and fans that donate any non-perishable, H-E-B-branded item at the box office receive a five-dollar discount off their ticket purchase for any Monday-Thursday contest.
On Oct. 27, Star Wars Night returns for the third-straight season with members of the 501st Legion on hand and specialty jerseys for fans to bid on through a silent auction to benefit the Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation. The Stars will also feature Saturday Night Fever as a throwback to the 1970’s on Dec. 9 against the Ontario Reign. Harry Potter Night will be on Jan. 26 against the Stockton Heat to honor the internationally-successful book and film franchise, and the Stars will close the season on April 14 with its annual Fan Appreciation Night celebration.
The Stars will honor our nation’s military by hosting a pair of Military Appreciation Weekends on Nov. 10 and 11 against the Grand Rapids Griffins, and April 6 and 7 against the Rockford IceHogs. The Nov. 11 game features a Stars cooler bag giveaway, and Round Rock Toyota, Honda and Hyundai will present the March weekend with a Stars camo hat giveaway on April 7th. Round Rock Toyota, Honda and Hyundai will also present the specialty jerseys worn by the players on both weekends that can be bid on through a silent auction to benefit the Texas Stars Foundation.
Pink in the Rink Weekend, presented by Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, is Feb. 9 and 10 against the Tucson Roadrunners. The Stars will wear specialty pink-themed jerseys to be auctioned off for the team’s Foundation, and a Stars pink-themed beach towel will be given away prior to the February 10th matchup.
Other returning specialty games include H-E-B Food Drive Night (Oct. 20), Teddy Bear Toss Night (Dec. 27), Postgame Autograph Night (Feb. 3) and Pucks ‘n Paws Night presented by Raising Cane’s (Feb. 24).
The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, and will begin their ninth season at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in October.
