Texas Stars Updates for the 2024-25 Season
Sep 27, 2024CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today several updates for the 2024-25 season at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
The Stars are thrilled to announce the addition of local radio icon Bob Pickett as the team’s new Public Address Announcer. Pickett, a University of Texas alum, has been a staple on the radio for over 40 years and was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2015. He was also inducted into the National Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2021. The Ventura, California native, who grew up in Sweetwater, Texas, will make his Stars debut at the home opener Oct. 11.
Pickett takes over for longtime Stars Public Address Announcer, Berry Thom, who recently stepped down from the position.
Texas Stars, LP is proud to share that fans will also notice some aesthetic changes at the arena this season. Among the updates, the carpet has been replaced throughout the Suite Level, Bud Light Club and Meeting Rooms.
Additionally, Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is recognized as the new presenting sponsor of the Suite and Loge Level.
The Texas Stars and H-E-B Center at Cedar Park have also launched a multi-year partnership with Pepsi. Find your favorite Pepsi products and Celsius energy drinks at concession stands throughout the building while you enjoy your favorite games and concerts.
In addition to refreshed and updated menu items such as the Glazed Pork Belly BLT at Goodstock Grill and the Chicken Tinga Tacodilla at Rojo’s presented by RS3 at H-E-B Center Storefronts, popular concession options such as Chez Mac, Smokey Denmark Hot Dogs, and Dr. Pepper return this season.
