Texas Stars Recall Desrosiers

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today rookie goaltender Philippe Desrosiers has been recalled from the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.
Desrosiers (deh-ROH-see-ay), 20, is currently in his first professional season after beginning the year in training camp with the Texas Stars. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native of Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec has won five of his last six appearances at the ECHL level and overall has played in 20 games this season for Idaho with an 8-6-3 record, a 2.46 goals against average and a .907 save percentage.
Desrosiers was a second-round pick by the Dallas Stars (54th overall) in 2013.
