Stars Reassign Molin to ECHL

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced Thursday forward Emil Molin has been reassigned to the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.
Molin (moh-LEEN, eh-MEEL), 22, made his AHL debut on Nov. 11 against San Antonio and tallied his first career point with an assist. He has recorded 38 points in 49 games this season for the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads on 19 goals and 19 assists. The 6-foot, 185-pound native of Gavle, Sweden was a fourth-round pick of the Dallas Stars in 2011 (105th overall).
Molin appeared in 11 games for Texas with three assists.
The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars and currently in their seventh season at Cedar Park Center.
