Dallas Stars Loan Forward Riley Tufte to Texas

FRISCO, Texas – Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has loaned forward Riley Tufte to the Texas Stars, Dallas' development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

 

Tufte, 24, has skated in three games and has recorded one shot on goal with 7:57 TOI/G. The forward made his NHL debut during with 2021-22 campaign and has skated in 13 career NHL contests.

 

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound forward has recorded 16 points (7-9--16) in 21 games with Texas this season. Tufte shares fourth on the club in goals (7) and seventh in points (16). He also leads the club in penalty minutes (39) and ranks fifth in plus-minus (+10).

 

A native of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Tufte was selected by Dallas in the first round (25th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.
