Dallas Recalls Six From Texas
Jan 13, 2013Stars Bring Up Six from Cedar Park as NHL Training Camp Begins
CEDAR PARK, TX – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has recalled forwards Cody Eakin, Reilly Smith and Antoine Roussel, defensemen Jordie Benn and Brenden Dillon and goaltender Cristopher Nilstorp.
Dallas will begin a six-day training camp on Sunday, January 13th with a one-hour one-ice practice beginning at 2:15 p.m. CST at Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco. Training camp will run through Friday, January 18th and the Stars will open the 2012-13 NHL regular season at home against the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday, January 19th at American Airlines Center.
Texas kicks off a six-game road trip with a Sunday, January 13th tilt against the Oklahoma City Barons at 4:00 p.m. at Cox Convention Center. The Stars return home on Saturday, January 26th to square off with the San Antonio Rampage at 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Park Center.
