Dallas Recalls Goaltender Richard Bachman

CEDAR PARK, TX – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has recalled goaltender Richard Bachman and has returned goaltender Jack Campbell on loan to Texas.
Bachman, 25, returns to Dallas after playing two games for Texas during his latest assignment to the AHL. In those two contests, Bachman earned a 2-0-0 record with a 0.929 save percentage (SV%) and a 2.00 goals against average (GAA). The 5-foot-10, 180-pound goaltender won five of his six games for the AHL affiliate this season, posting a 5-1-0 record in those contests and least Texas with a 0.920 SV%. The Salt Lake City native has appeared in 26 career NHL contests, earning a 10-8-2 record with a 0.894 SV% and a 3.13 GAA. He was Dallas' fourth-round selection (120th overall) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Campbell, 21, has skated in 32 games for Texas this season and has a 14-10-3 record with a .906 SV% and a 2.59 GAA. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound goaltender was recalled by Dallas on March 19, and served as Kari Lehtonen's backup for Wednesday's game against Colorado, and Thursday's contest against Los Angeles. The Port Huron, Mich., native was Dallas' first-round selection (11th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to beginning his professional career, Campbell represented Team USA at three consecutive IIHF World U-20 Championships (2010-12), capturing a gold medal in 2010 and a bronze medal in 2011.

The Texas Stars conclude their three-game home stand tonight at 7:00 pm against the Charlotte Checkers.
