Dallas Reassigns Jace Coyle To Idaho

CEDAR PARK, TX – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has reassigned defenseman Jace Coyle from Texas to the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL.
Coyle, 22, has played in four AHL games for the Stars this season and has one assist. The Cranbrook, British Columbia native has 13 points (1 goal, 12 assists) and a plus-nine rating in 18 games for Idaho this year. In his second professional season, Coyle appeared in 48 games as a rookie for the Stars during the 2011-12 season, recording five points (1 goal, 4 assists) and 6 penalty minutes.
Coyle is expected to be in Idaho’s lineup today as the Steelheads battle the Gwinnet Gladiators at 3:05 p.m. CST at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.
Texas gets back to work following the AHL All-Star break on Friday, February 1st as they travel to Houston to square off against the Aeros at 7:05 p.m. at Toyota Center. The Stars return home on Tuesday, February 5th, for another H-E-B Night as they host the Rockford IceHogs for a 7:30 p.m. faceoff at Cedar Park Center.
