Texas Stars Loan Elgin Pearce to Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today that forward Elgin Pearce has been returned on loan to the Idaho Steelheads.

Pearce, 26, began the season in Texas and played one game with the Stars to start the year. The forward from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia has played 11 career games in the AHL across the last three seasons, netting a goal and adding two assists. With Idaho, Pearce has tallied a pair of assists in five contests.

The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, return home on Nov. 14 at 7:00 p.m. to battle the Manitoba Moose at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park for the first time this year.
