Stars Sign Hargrove to AHL Contract

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced Monday the team has signed forward Colton Hargrove to an AHL contract for the upcoming 2018-19 season.

Hargrove, 26, has spent the past three seasons with the AHL’s Providence Bruins and tallied 87 points (38-49=87) in 185 career games. Prior to his time in Providence, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound forward competed for three seasons at Western Michigan University from 2012-2015 with 62 points (34-28=62) in 105 games.

The Rockwall, Texas native also played two years for the Fargo Force of the USHL’s before attending Western Michigan.
