Stars Announce Six Guaranteed Home Dates for 2016-17

Season Opener Set for October 14th at H-E-B Center

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced Tuesday six guaranteed home dates for the upcoming 2016-17 season at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.

The Stars will begin their eighth season of play in the AHL on Friday, Oct. 14, with their Season Opener at 7:30 p.m. CST.

Saturday, Nov. 12, is the Stars’ Military Appreciation Night event. Friday, Dec. 9, and Saturday, Dec. 10, will be the Stars’ annual Sing for Santa Weekend as local school groups will sing holiday music throughout each game for fans to enjoy.

The team will also be at home on Saturday, Jan. 7, for Girl Scouts Night and again on Saturday, Jan. 28, for WATCH D.O.G.S. Night.

Opponents and starting times will be determined when the Stars’ finalized schedule for the 2016-17 campaign is released later in the summer. The team’s promotional schedule for the upcoming season will also be available at a later date.
